The movie was not so good, but also not bad. There was not enough action in it.

It's not that bad!! I do not understand why so many people are trashing this film. They obviously do not know what they are saying or how to rate a movie effectively. Bottom line... if you enjoy sci-fi films, you'll enjoy this one.

Garbage. Not worth the price of ANY admission. It seems even God took pity on me as I found $5 walking out of the theatre. Honestly, this is lousy in every sense.

A very poor move from the famous PC games to the big screen. The Producers didn't understand what made the PC games great: The fact that you can interact with an entire universe. In the movie, they only concentrated on a few main characters and dulled us out with their boring lives as fighter pilots in starfighters that were a direct insult to 1950's jets. With ugly oversized gatling guns mounted on the nose, and battle maneuvers that you could fall asleep next to, they really blew it. As for the destroyers: What is beatifull about a badly textured cigar which splits into 2??? And how low can you get with a scenario that you could come up with in your sleep. Only good point: The Kilrathy were pretty well adapted.

This movie sucked!! It had so much potential, and they blew it. The whole film is very dark and most of the time it's so dark you can't even see what's going on. The special effects are sad and the storyline is confusing. The lasers are machine guns instead of actual lasers and the ships, which supposedly are one of the key points of the movie, look old and cheap, like pieces of iron put together. They really had the potential to make cool starships, but no...

One word: Disappointing. The only reason why I enjoyed it is because I played the computer game quite a bit and it was "pleasant" to relate to that... Other than that - Not much there...

The best thing to say about this movie is that the Star Wars trailer plays before it...oh yeah and also that the fighting isn't done using lasers but torpedos wich was a good idea...The stupid love story killed it for me and it had no place in this movie. Starship Troopers was 10 times better, because they didn't make it out to be a serious movie, wich is not the case of this one.

How desperate are you to see a movie? Wing Commander has got to be one of the worst sci-fi movies I've ever seen. It's cheesy, there's no story, the effects look like they're 10 or 15 years behind today's standard (remember Battlestar Gallactica?) and it's so predictable it's insulting...The video game with Mark Hammill (Luke Skywalker) is way, way better! Maybe kids will enjoy this flic, but it was a real let down to me. Expect this one to be out on video soon...REAL SOON... because it won't last very long in theatres!

Boring! Please do not go to see this movie before dinner as you will spend the entire movie contemplating what restaurant to go to and what to order insted of following the action or the absence thereof! Real big zero. I urge the fans of the Star Wars preview to select another movie for purpose of seeing the trailer, unless you are willing to commit 2 hours and 10$ for those 3 minutes of fun.

A must go see. The movie holds you in awe until the end. The special effects were well spaced out through out the movie. The only thing that I found disapointing is the charcaters. The movie does't give you the time to get attached to them. Overall GO SEE IT !!

I hope that this is the first of a whole bunch of sci-fi films spawned by the upcoming star wars craze. This film was quite good for a sci-fi film with only a 28 million dollar buget. It has a fair amount of action and the special effects are pretty good. The characters are all well cast but the story could have been developed a bit further. If you enjoyed films like Hunt for Red October, you'll enjoy this film.
